Roger that

Thoughtout life, passivity has always (and still is) a default way of thinking for me. Whether I'm over thinking, over analyzing, or just plain procratinating, I would falter at the critical moment and the opportunity would slip away. Over thinking or delays allows your brain to give you excueses not to do the things exepected of you. These delays are the root cause of my complacency and stalling out whenever I feel like I'm not making any progress.
This is why when I heard David Goggins talk about how he and a few others he had met in the military that have "infused" the response of 'Roger that!' with the additional meaning of "expect results" really made me think about how often I'm paralyzed by my own thoughts and inaction. It's not to say that every situtation is a 'do it now, think later' but more of a 'take the best shot, figure it out, report and analyze later'
Roger that: Received, order given, expect results.
